I'm not sure exactly how your plugin is setup, but try this.
Integer.parseInt("String goes here")
//You can put a variable as well (obv)
I could have sworn that there was a config option for this in factions somewhere. I know I found it once.
Yeah, start there. I just assumed like 90% of the threads around here that the OP actually didn't want to learn Java...
Miraculously, I fixed it by changing my "name" variables to "sender.getName()" -_-
Now I just need to fix some logic errors. THANKS!
I'm probably just missing something in my code, but I just cannot find out what I'm doing wrong.

Thank you it worked :)
I wasn't entirely sure what to search in order to find this, but It seems easy enough. I'm just not sure how to do it.
I need to save EVERYTHING...
Hmm.... I'm pretty sue it didn't work before I moved it there, but nice catch.
I'll try it.
Thank you! I got it to work after fiddling with it...
Part of it is not an if statement. I even added a test info log @ the beginning of it to see f it executes, but no dice.
Only for about 5 hours straight. I have similar methods in my code.
I'm trying to make a YML called "completed.yml" so I can store players' names and an integer between 1 and 5 (for a later stage in the plugin)
make sure in the config you are saving the "heal-amount" value as an integer and not a string. Otherwise, I don't know what's wrong.
I keep getting this error upon starting the server:
2012-07-27 15:33:50 [SEVERE] java.lang.NullPointerException
2012-07-27 15:33:50 [SEVERE]at...
Okay, I did most of that, i'll try it again. (Tomorrow, it's almost 4:00pm here.)
Can somebody give a quick run-through on how to make editable YML files that can be edited through methods and not just though the file. I do NOT...
I found out the method. Now I need to figure out player join events.
I have vault, but I looked and I couldn't figure out the code for it.
I know how to hook into Vault and everything, I just don't know the method...
How would I go to adding money to a player's balance through essentials economy.
By this I mean though a plugin's code, not a command.
Separate names with a comma.
