Can my server have permissionsEx for groups managing, and still have essentials installed for all of its commands? We really dont like the commandbook commands compared to the essentials commands, it's just not the same. And we couldn't get essentials groupmanager to work right. Hopefully somebody know!

Yeah. But it will conflict with groupmanager if you have it installed.

Ok, we don't have groupmanager, we wanted the easy to use commands of esentials. Thanks. Also if anyone knows how to fix problems with permissonsEx that we have, could you reply and possibly skype call us? thanks

Just my opinion, but i'd reccomend groupmanager, acetech09 just helped me install it through TeamViewer. Good plugin.

Yeah I would too, but I wasn't going to mention it. I've had a few people that favored PEX convert to GroupManager after they tried it. If you have some time, I'd suggest trying groupmanager and seeing which you like more.

We had groupmanager for a while, but we were encountering serious problems. We would set all of the permissions for the groups, and yet the players would still have all these commands that we had never given them, and they could use worldedit and everything. It would work one minute, and then everything would be screwed up.
So if someone would be willing to walk us through it, even over the period of a few days, we would use it. But we were too frustrated over it malfunctioning.

If you are struggling with groupmanager, I'd personally recomend acetech09, honestly, he did all the config and such for me. He explained everything, and now it works.
