    A versatile, player-controlled land management plugin for use with Bukkit/Tekkit/Spigot/Libigot, offering solutions for pvp, griefing, chat, inflated economies and monsters.

    With HC you can delete the general section of the channels.yml file in the settings folder. I don't think you can disable the /tc auto-joining, but removing the general section might solve that problem for you too.

    Put register.jar in your plugins folder as per install instructions.

    Pastebin.com you config.yml and a full server startup.

    Join the IRC I might be able to help you clean it up.

    Type /tw to see the world settings. /tw toggle pvp will alter the pvp in the wilderness.

    This is my 1st time using Towny, and I cannot figure out how to make homeblock and all of that.
    It says "Homeblock is not registered" or "map is not registered" and I cannot figure out how to use anything. (I'm confused) Is there a item or "wand" type thing to make the towns borders?

    Please help!

    Great plugin by the way! I had a quick question.

    Example. I am a mayor. I have a resident that wants to create his own town and become a town mayor also. we are on good terms so is it possible that he has his own town however keeps is own exclusive permissions within my town? Is there a way that he can be a friend of the town?

    Also can the server own towns? for example for the spawn area?

    Hi, i got a problem. When I use commands like /town new [create]. All it shows is blank, like no messages and no nothing. And the command doesnt work. Please help!

    I had the same problem you are having and fixed mine by updating from bukkit 1.1-r2 to 1.1-r4.

    I know you say your already using r4 but I would double check that.

    Ranks automatically appear, but however they're just plain white text, I want those prefixes in colors.

    Right now it's:

    [world][member]name

    And I want the part [member] To be colored etc. but how?

    I need some help, I Need a way to make it so that my residents cannot build/destroy. I tried all sorts of ways such as using /town set perm resident build/destroy off [Respectively] and I also tried messing around with the Config folder such as below:

    IS there a way to allow people to own land in multi-towns but only lay claim to one?
    Be nice if people could say buy land in town A and town B and what ever town they owned the most in was the one their pop swung to. Other then being limited to one city purchase good pluign.

    I am trying to make a new town with Towny in a specific spot to line up with the roads I am making, but making a new town is unpredictable? I made the town, saw where it was made and, and adjusted and tried again, and the town was made from a different angle... Instead of making the town from the top right of the plot, it does it from a random location.

    I am just wondering if there is a precise way of making towns?

  19. r5 is not yet a recomended build

    Plots are always calculated from the same location. You can not change the plot size once you have started claiming.

    Hello
    i finally installed Towny. Btw all work but i have a question. I have set town claim block to 64 and it's ok. I want to make plot 10x10 but i dont understand how to do it! When i do /plot claim , it claims all 64 block zone! How can i make a plot of 10x10?

    can someone help i am having trouble with towny working with myworlds plugin when ever i create a town in another world that is not the main world the town spouts that i claimed get delete when i true the server off plz help i like to get towny working

    Is there still a problem with new day tax collection using towny 0.79 , register and questioner that came with it, iconomy6,pex 1.17, mysql on everything that works with it, /townyadmin says daily timer on, everything set up, but no moneywithdrawn when the hour is there, run the /townyadmin newday command and everything works as it should, so setup must be ok since it recognises iconomy etc in that event??

    any ideas?

    This refers to the fact that Pex has not updated to the new bukkit event system.

    This was fixed in DEV, sadly dev now requires R5 to run, so you might be able to update CB to R5 and be okay, some of your other plugins might break though.

    Use the in-game commands. /town set perm resident build off, /town set perm resident destroy off, then /town set perm reset, to make the changes affect already claimed plots.

    The dev already does, lucky you.

    Plots sizes are all the same. If you want your world chopped up into 10x10's then change the config's town_block_size to 10.

    Elgarl has updated register to be compatible with R5, so you'll be covered.
