Help Lag

I dont understand why Bukkit always lag's for me

config
2005 compaq
intel pentium II dual core
1.5 gb ram
120 GB hdd
mzram booster
15-17 mbps download
3-5 mbps upload

latest recommended bukkit build
i Went through and removed all plugins and before i started to add them one by one i was having a lag problem

help I'm reaching my limit with bukkit i am considering moving back to canary mod if i cant fix this

 

Don't have enough RAM. Your server will run, but you'll get lag.

 

Pentium II was good for 1996. It does not come dual-core either, so it can't be what you have.

 

Solutions:
1. Assign your Server more RAM.
2. Use the plugin "PTweaks" to help reduce lag, or use "NoLagg" if you want to configure the features of the plugin more.

 

intel Pentium dual cpu 1.73 GHZ is what the system Properties says so Thats whats in my 2005 laptop I don't know what more to tell you then

So can you tell me why I get lag on a bukkit server but not Canary mod or Minecraft basic server?

Bukkit takes up more memory than those pieces of shit. as well as plugins

 

Well, your first post said Pentium II.

Anyways, three problems:

1. Trying to host a server on a laptop.
2. Slow processor.
3. Very small amount of RAM.
