Hello, I am requesting that a very useful mod be made to ban users who are spamming from using chat, instead of banning or kicking them from the server. I believe many administrators would use this mod. Here are some example functions: 1. Detect spam and enable warnings. 2. Manually/automatically ban/kick users from using chat for a specified time. 3. Manually/automatically ban/kick users from using AND viewing chat for a specified time. 4. Permanently ban users from using chat. 5. Permanently ban users from using AND viewing chat. ~Fluxty
NoCheat and MCBans can handle some basic anti-spam, and you can use something like Modifyworld or HeroChat to disable certain groups from chatting, and then manually place users in that group when they're spamming. You can use CommandHelper to create an alias "/spammer $username" for "/pex group spammer user add $username".
