I have yet not found any solution for this. I tried to make a minecraft bukkit server but my friends cannot connect! I'm connecting through hamachi and my brother uses the same internet as me and he cam make a server! I'm sure it's something to do with the firewall but I can't figure out what to do... It's not only bukkit, I tride to make a server on loads of games but it won't work...

I have 3gb ram and I've set up bukkit 100% correctly.

    Please help asap.

If your gonig to host for your friends then you ned to port forward the following port to your PC's i.p adress ( not the hamachi i.p address) you need to do this on the router and the the windows firewall

    Default Bukkit port : 25565

once thats done find your outside i.p address, to quickly find this just go to google and type "whats my i.p"

give that i.p address to your friends to connect

the reason you connect to your brothers server is because your connecting via the LAN not by the internet

How do I do the thing on said on line 1 + line 2? BTW hamachi does not need portforwarding, because my bro never portforwarded

What router are you using? Can you get us a model number? You are both on the same network behind a router? Also are you using any antivirus software?

I can give a good link if you give a model number.

I can not see the picture...upload it again. If you want you can turn off your windows firewall, but I do not advise you do that.

are you running XP, Windows 7, or Mac?

If XP or 7, see if hamachi adapter is set to home network, work network, or public network in the network connections area of your control panel. disable the windows firewall on whichever it is. (don't worry... unless your router is set to DMZ, it should firewall you.)

if that doesn't work, see if disabling all firewalls does.

Stop bumping your post. There are countless guides on port forwarding - follow them more closely if you have problems. Also, don't forget to allow the ports through Windows Firewall - there are also countless tutorials on that.
