I'm running the following on my server: Init Script - http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/admin-linux-init-script-for-bukkit.53235/ Essentials 2.7.2 (All Jars) w/ local chat configured Factions 1.6 ChestShop 3.3 WorldEdit 5.0 Lockette 1.4.9 The server is running on CentOS with 2.5gb RAM dual-core VPS with 1.5gb allocated to java and 512mb allocated to the ramdisk (totalling 2gb of RAM used at any time). The OS has been allocated 512mb to do whatever it needs (FTP, Apache, etc). Server RAM usage never goes above 80% when the crash happens. We're using Sun Java, not openJDK. The problem is that randomly with no indication whatsoever a crash will occur and craftbukkit will stop responding completely. The ramdisk (not full, usually ~30mb/512mb) and the server remain fine however. I can't figure out why the crash is, and its extremely irritating because the only way I can fix it is to physically log into the server, save the ramdisk and do a reboot. The logs do not show any reason for a crash. It's completely random. It crashes once every ~10hrs. Anyone got any ideas?
Bump. Try and connect to server after a crash and you get "End of Stream". This is really important :|
You can try updating your CraftBukkit and your plugins. Its a good chance its a plugin causing it, so you can try to recreate the error without any plugins and see.
Jenkins is down so I can't try a dev build. I don't think any of my plugins are broke because otherwise there would be an error in the logs?
Attached file, its dev 1.1 build, stable as can be. Couldn't attach, not taking any credit for this.. <Edit by Moderator: Redacted mediafire url>
