I used to use Yeti's permission plugin but they don't have it updated anymore. Can someone please recommend me a good permissions plugin?

Its all just opinion. I would suggest looking at different ones and picking the best one of your choice :D

Can I please get a better answer, just recommend your favorite permissions plugin.

  4. I find that PermissionsEX (PEX) is the best, it has a lot of permissions 3.X.X feel to it, and is even backward compatible with it. It's layout is fantastic, Others will tell you bPermissions, But it just confuses the hell out of me.

EDIT: Also, If you used to use Permissions 2.X.X or 3.XX PEX will allow you to import those old permissions. Really handy

EDIT2: After reading your post again, you used to use permissions by yeti (2.X.X) so yes, PEX is the best selection for an old permissions user.

bPermissions has full SuperPermissions support. Both PEX and bPermissions are amazing, but I switched from PEX to bPermissions, because of the easier commands, better support for superperms, and it is a bit less confusing ( more or less ).
If you used Permissions, use PEX.

PermissionsBukkit without a doubt — the learning curve from Permissions 3 is a little steep at times, but it's a official plugin and shouldn't vanish overnight.

I wouldn't use PermissionsBukkit. It may be "official", but it isn't the best. It's rather buggy and the dev is slow to respond to problems.

bpermissions is great, and codename_B is a great developer. This one is a bit different than the inheritance systems you are probably used to, but it's very effective and stable.

PEX is good too, but the way they mark the "deny" nodes can break plugins, from what I've read. I've never experienced that though. This one was slower for me than bpermissions, because of the inheritance system. It is easier to set up than bpermissions though.

Both are good, but I can't recommend PermissionsBukkit.

PEX is the most powerful, bPermissions is very well supported and documented.
I use bPermissions because of its one-file-per-world system, instead of world-specific nodes in one file, which I like.
