So here's my problem: I have WorldGuard and Factions both installed. I have a small area where users can purchase small protected plots. The problem is this area is recognized as 'wilderness' to factions and therefor players with a faction can come up and /f claim the protected region and screw up the owner. So the next logical step for me was to set the area as a safezone so that factions cannot claim land in a safezone. Now the problem is that the owner, even though they have WorldGuard permissions set right, can no longer build on their plot because Factions tells them 'Can not build in a safezone.' Does anyone have any idea how to get around this problem?
Seriously! What he said. Lol We've been wanting to use Kingdoms or Factions but cannot because they can claim protected land. Why has no one made a plugin using WorldGuard as their base... -_-
I agree with the above statements the fact that your protected zone with worldguard gets taken over by factions just kinda ruins the point of having factions or worldguard..... we need something like factions but using worldguard.
Use world guard to block the command that is used to claim with factions. I do this with Towny + WorldGuard
