I'm a bit concerned about server lag as players make armies of snow golems. Is there already a means of limiting the number of snow golems that players can make? Like, I dunno, lightening destroys golems when there are too many?
I'm sure there is a plugin out there that will limit mobs in a certain range, however why don't you just ask you're users to stop. You have to remember that every time you add a plugin to your server, it will lag the server that little bit more. I'm guessing that if it was lagging due to snow golems, your server can't be that powerful (I think we tried this out once on my server and all the clients crashed due to frame lag before the server started lagging.)
