I guess this is a type of timeout, but I'm not for sure exactly what to call it. Say I load up my server. I can jump on, my friends can join, we all play for a while, life is good. At the end of the day, we all log off and leave the server running. After about a half hour of no one playing, no one can rejoin. On the client end, we get timeouts, and on the server, nothing shows up in the logs or the console display. If I enter a single character in the console, however, I suddenly get a list of all IPs that have tried to connect and we can all amazingly rejoin the server with no problems. Again, after the server sits idle for a half hour or so, no one can rejoin until I type anything in the console. To make this a bit more strange, I have a scheduler running and all of the scheduled commands execute properly and on time. Any thoughts?
A buttload of plugins. Probably time to turn them all off and then back on one at a time till I find what is causing the issue?
You could, I suppose... one of them could be interfering with the Network Accept or Reader thread of the server.
Excellent, now I know what to look for. Thanks Pyraetos Quick question, when you use /plugins, what does it mean when one of the plugins is in red? Modifyworld that comes with PEX is in red. weird...
I think that means that the plugin did not load successfully, or for some other reason is not enabled at the time.
