Use a whitelist or block multiple logons from a single IP.

Don't run in offline mode.

 

That plugin kicks you if you [login, logout, login, logout, etc...] but the client logs in many people and don't log them out so the server is lagging and full.

We had the same problem and onlinemode was TRUE, also they used different ip's.
Its a new hack, one person was controlling those bots.

 

doubt it...it's not possible to use bots with random names with online-mode true!

 

I've seen it once... Different accounts, different IPs, all logging in within 1 second. It'd be possible if they had a database of names, and a bunch of proxies.

Children under this customer is doing all the servers crash cracked.

Lol, everyday the same story with these cracked servers.

First off these are not at all "bots". They are all fake, OFFLINE-MODE accounts and this hack was made to harrass offline mode server like you and it seems it is working.

Nice try, but online-mode WILL solve this issue.

 

Moved to Bukkit Help, online-mode=true is your best bet.

Our servers are always "online-mode=true", whitelist fixed it for our server.
