Hi guys, I have been building up my server for about a week now...and it's going well! When I do a full launch I want to clear all chests, inventories, dispensers etc Is there an easy way to do this?
we have done the same, recently we have used a home temp server to build spawns town, players are in creative. when its moved over to our dedicated we will be removing valuables that may be hidden. we have done this in the past, worldedit is the answer. select the entire area then, //replace chest chest it will remove all chests in the area and everthing inside them and replace it with an empty chest. do the same for dispensors ect. remove diamond blocks and other valuables in the same fassion //replace diamondblock air for inventorys delete all player associated files in the world folder hopefully it isnt a massive world ot 10000's of chests
eeep. People could have ventured out quite far and buried their chests lol So could be an issue... But that's a good idea. Any other suggestions?
it whouldnt matter the overall size its the ammount its replacing that matteres, ive done this on a 5000 x 5000 map from bedrock to sky in 1 selection. note this will remove legit cave chests too
