Hello, I've noticed that since forever... my server has randomly decided that it stops accepting new connections. It's not a firewall/port or any of that issue... its something else.

On the user side, it will simply display "Connection reset" as soon as you click 'join' on server side I'm not sure what it does, i'll have to monitor that next time it occurs and report back on that. I believe it shows nothing but after a period of time it shows "Connection reset" with the IP of the person trying to connect. Also it will show as "Can't find" in the server browser list.

The only solution i've foudn to this is restarting the server but when this is hapening like every few hours it can be quiet annoying. Sometimes it can go a day without having this issue, sometimes soon as you restart it within 10mins it stops accepting new connections.

I do have a number of plugins running but nothing that I can think would interfere with connecting to the server :S

Anyone else got any experiences with this issue?

Check to see what your RAM and CPU usage is when this happens.

Thanks for replying. Ram usage is rougly 4GB out of the allocated 6GB.

CPU load averages are fairly high at around 4.5-5.0. Is this the cause?

It may be, sometimes leaking RAM can cause lag and this. Restart the server every once in a while and limit /reload.
