I've seen it done somewhere before (I forget where), but i want to grab the players skin from mc.net take just the face and display it as an avatar on a web page, how do i go about doing this?

Infact it doesnt have to be just the face, something like this would be good : http://www.mcskinsearch.com/

  2. Check the Bukkit Tools section, I remember seeing a phython or PHP script that does it :) Thats all I've seen though...Depending on what you want, I know that spout can make a 3d model (As used in their launcher). Maybe talk to @Wulfspider

Ok, thanks, i'll check out the Tools section, maybe tal kto wulfspider as a last resort :p I don't really like approaching people for stuff, makes me feel like a burden :p

  4. Meh, Wulfspider is a nice guy, he doesn't bite :p (For the most part). Either way, good luck finding something! Sorry I couldn't help directly

  7. Holy Notch! That's a nice website you (or not you) got there. Just out of curiosity. A plugin would be able to pull the picture too right?

Minotar is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

However, there is still question: how do you ask mincraft.net for a skin file? I want to avoid a situation, where I use these on my website and Minotar will close their website. I want to be independent from external sites. Any thoughts?
