Hey all, . I read a while ago that with 1.0 Notch was adding a map height property so we could have bigger then 64-0-64 maps. . I really need this as I already placed my world about 30 blocks underground and still missing about 50 blocks on top... so atm Im using 30-0-98 . So I was wondering how to create a new world that has something like 64-0-192 (so 64 deep, 0 is base level and then 192 blocks air, so basically double what we have now) . Thanks! P.s. If this is not possible with standard minecraft, is it possible with spout ?
sorry but as far as i'm aware, any attempt to change the world height without a modded client will crash the clients connected to the server you could try this but be warned, it's still a test plugin and i do not recommend it being run on a public server, also it warns you about the possibility that your old worlds might be deleted http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/increased-map-height-128-test-plugin.47786/ to the part about notch making it easier changing the map height limit then yes that is true, but not completely since you have to use a modded client.
Hmm that looks good, but I need it for multiplayer I have no problem using spout.. also everyone on my server WILL download whateaver client mods I tell em to so that is no problem either..
We know.. both 'on it's way' means "it's not here now" ... which = for all intend and purpose it doesn't exist ;(
Now if FishTaco and the SputCraft teem could work together here, we would all have something truly fleshed out amazing!
