Would something like a whitelist be alright? I could create a web application where they have to register on your website with their minecraft name, and then it'll automatically whitelist them and allow them to play on your server.
i want that player register on the site and use the minecraft name and that password what he/she did and that password use for login on the server ? http://www.nedercraft.nl/portal/member_create.php This than is that DUTCH you can see it on the ip server.nedercraft.nl i want that register on the server and login
Couldn't you just check if a player access exists by having the forum registration and server check the usernames against the same list? >user tries to join, denied cause name isn't in config >user registers on forum, name is added to config. User can now login.
I want That player register with That minecraft name and That password is than for /login than is THE player on THE forum register and on THE server with That password What hè/she types in you can see it on That dutch site of you can make it i give €80
What we're asking though, is why do you need a password? If someone is logging into minecraft, we know it's that person, unless they share their minecraft account with other people.
i want a register on the server and than need player register on the website and login in the server yea so i want than not whitelist than with login and register (auth) and if anyone register on forum he need to fill a password and that password is the login (password) EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
@dann964 Then obviously your not listening (it also maybe the broken English, assuming its not your native language). If you want to compare user accounts to see if they exist before letting them join, my method is what you will want. From what I can determine though, you want them to be able to get on the server regardless, but want them to have to use a command. You will still have to compare forum usernames/passwords with the info given with '/login [user)[pass]'. A plain text file would probably work best, so you could change passwords that maybe changed on the forums or add special instances or remove people if needed. For example (> = User, >> = Server); >Player registers IGN and password on forum. >> Username added to a list of '/login' credentials >Player joins server and is greeted with a prompt for '/login [user) [pass]' >The user enters '/login Notch HelloWorld' >> Server checks 'Notch' to see if it is on the list, and then checks 'HelloWorld' to see if it matches the forum login's password
IGN = In Game name and no. I have only enough knowledge to make the minecraft side of it. Be assured that that to tailor it for your website, the developer might need more information than you want to give out.
Im not sure if Any player register on website and typed him IGN and THE password and email if hè register on THE website and That password What hè did on THE website That is than THE password for server login
I can do this. I already have most of the code for it. I just need to know what forum software you are using.
I'm close to 95% done with the plugin and the website. The current build of the plugin requires mysql. However I could possibly make do with other systems. Also I need to know the permissions system you need otherwise I currently have it defaulting to Op. I sent an email in regards to this plugin you need.
i am also interested in this kind of plugin... announce me if someone maybe it and i could pay for it
It is extremely easy to create a small white-listing plugin requiring web registration. Just a few MySQL calls and you're done...
