oh and if this helps im using multiplay game servers i chose bukkit reccomended build for 1.8.1 its the latest one and then i went into filezilla and replaced it with the one i downloaded and i restart and yeah OUTDATED SERVER or INVALID server key

Yeah, this has been a bug with Google Chrome for a long while.

Hmmm, try restarting your Minecraft client.

That is a bug with the Minecraft.net login servers, although it was fixed about a week ago..

You must be doing something wrong. I am guessing that you didn't rename the file that you downloaded to the appropriate name, so it is still running the old server jar file.

Post your startup batch file here, so we can take a look at it.

as i said before i use multiplay game servers
i dont know what to give you,i have minecraft_server.jar AND a run.bat also when i put that thing in i deleted the previous one, there is only the new one in there unless it was overwritten and i am doing this via filezilla

also something to note I AM NOT USING ANY PLUGINS yet but i have to use remote bukkit could that be the problem? i think i have to use it though

Oh I see, that is why. I do not think Multiplay allows any other Bukkit versions, besides RB.

You could try: Look in your Minecraft server for the bukkit.jar or whatever they call it at multplay. Then delete that file and move the one you downloaded into that folder. Then rename the file, the same as the one you deleted.

If that doesen't work, then you will have to wait for a Bukkit RB, which could take a few weeks longer or move hosts, which allow custom Bukkit versions.

but they said i could replace it with a dev build via ftp :(

its even the correct name and if i have it down even longer (ive had it down for weeks) then ALL my users will wander off and leave the server AAAAAAAAAAH

Nope, you are 100% doing something wrong. I wish I was able to see what you were doing though.

The version that I linked you to is Minecraft 1.00 and it is not outdated.

Like I said, make sure the name is the same, so the startup script starts the new one up.

If you still can't get it, then download team-viewer and run it as either a presentation or remove connection and PM me the details. That way we can get it setup the right way, instead of blindly trying to guess what you did wrong.
