Hello DudeCat, I was wondering if you could help me with a small "mod, "tweak" or "plugin" (I guess that one is the right one :/), I don't really know if someone has already made it for bukkit, but I though I could ask you. The idea is to make a minecraft RTS. Each player can control any kind of mob (amount may be determined by a taming level). The player can select (by left clicking with a control object) individual mobs they control, a specific species, or specific individuals and these mobs would be highlighted (prolly needs spout for this) then the player can right click on a block for the mob to move there, or on a player or enemy mob for it to attack. The mobs could have a GUI that allows you to give them armor and items (making them useful as pack animals as well) The Mobs would have their own hunger and health bars that would function the same as the players, and if they have food in their inventory they would automatically eat it when they are not in combat if the food bar gets low. AND to sum it all up, if the health bar of each player and mob can be displayed above their heads? (maybe a separate plugin?).
The delay happens with the player's arm swing, to remove it, you would need a client mod that removes the movement of the arm, however, this is commonly a cheat and many people use it to grief because of the faster mining speed.
Just an idea: Emergency Mode plugin. Use: when you see somebody placing TNT, or wielding a flint and steel, just type /em. While in this mode, TNT will not ignite, flint&steel will not work etc. Possibly also /em2 for extra-emergency mode, which disables all block placing.
Good idea, but I don't think I can do something this difficult. I already had something like this planned. I'll work on it when Bukkit updates. Sounds good. I would really like if you could create a plugin for me. It would be custom to my server, but I think could be lots of fun for others as well. It is a plugin that makes admins have awesome powers, and visual effects to go along with it. Imagine teleporting to someone because they have been bad, but instead of them just seeing you, and the only hint of you being an admin is the name above your head, you generate light all around your character, and maybe have the dark particles that an enderman emits, coming out of you. There could be toggle-able commands to switch between these effects (incase some are too laggy for your server). These could include all of the "bubbly" type effects that emit from your body when you have a potion, or even have the particles that come out of red stone emit from your body. Or imagine being able to walk around with a ring of fire encircling you, leaving players in awe at your powers. They would think it is amazing, and have a sort of intimidation, and possibly making them respect you, your admins, and your server more. The reason it would be custom to my server is because I have a mostly Factions based server, but the overall theme is greek mythology, so each admin could have his own toggle-able visual effect, and powers to go along with it. I would be offering a little money in return for this, if you could make this for me. One word... Rocks. ill explain it more i guess. I want to have all sorts of diffrnet rocks around the world. they can leik grow like grass or something idk but yeah. It wuld add details to the terrain and make the world looks coooler and stuff. just an idea idk if you can do it but yeah it would be realllly cool if you could amke them. add like granite and sandstone and stuff.

hi, i run my own bukkit server, and i havent found any cat pluggins on the web. i am an exstreme cat lover, and came up with an idea to an cat pluggin. i want to insted of just dogs/wolfs, you can also own cats and use them as protecsjon. to gouard your base. if you make this pluggin, make cats more acrobatic then dogs, and put in some smartness to them. hope you make this pluggin, and sorry for my english! (norwegian) and you have to give the cats fish to "claim" them.
Can you make a plot security plugin that works with: InfinitePlots That when u place 5 blocks in an empty plot you obtain/claim it. And only you can build and destroy in the plot, if you do not use command to add another player too the plot
