I was reading around the mc wiki and a saw that snow could be more than a fraction of a block thick. depending on the meta data it is thicker. here's a pic: as you can see the snow that i have selected is thinner than a block but thicker than normal. meta data 15 is 1 block thick and adds a slight bit of block under it so you aren't completely on the ground. anyways, my request! i was wondering if someone could make it so snow piled up constantly during the night (or when snowing comes back; when it snows) so that in the morning the snow could be up to 5 blocks thick. a sort of blizzard if you will. not sure how hard this would be because it is adding quite a fe blocks so tell me if it's impossible. -Elmeerkat
I saw that @TechGuard was going to use this feature (which i hadn't known about) in his up coming Christmas Plugin might want to talk to him about making it a separate plugin that works alongside his plugin instead of part of it noted: Tagged TechGuard since this has a bit of reference to some of the work he is currently doing
