I have created a bukkit server for me and my friends to play together. We tried it out at my friends house it worked out fine his computers are clones i could not spot any difference between them. But when i got home i started the server i asked them to join they said connection refused but i can connect. Then i some friends tell me that need hamachi to let other play. I need help!!
let me get this strieght u were round his house when you were playing togather if this is right you are not connecting through the internet your infact going through the router to your computer from his. if so it could be that his router is not port forwarded if it is then chech his firewall settings
forget about hamachi, that's pretty much sh**. you'd need to get access to your router, that box that connects you to the internet and put some port-forwarding settings for the port 25565 from the internet to your computer. the just go to http://whatismyip.com and share the ip with your friends. that will then be your server adress. if that wont work im sorry.
