Hey everybody, please help me with my server. It was working fine yesterday. But then after I installed utorrent and added a port forward for it, my bukkit server doesn't work! I've uninstalled utorrent and deleted the port forward for it, but the bukkit server still isn't working. I've tried going into server.properties and removing the server ip, but it still won't work. please help me! thanks!

    Code:
2011-10-22 10:15:37 [INFO] Starting minecraft server version Beta 1.8.1
    2011-10-22 10:15:37 [INFO] Loading properties
2011-10-22 10:15:37 [INFO] Starting Minecraft server on 192.168.1.1:25565
2011-10-22 10:15:37 [WARNING] **** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!
2011-10-22 10:15:37 [WARNING] The exception was: java.net.BindException: Cannot assign requested address: JVM_Bind
2011-10-22 10:15:37 [WARNING] Perhaps a server is already running on that port?

anybody???????? please help? I've been trying to find a solution all day but no luck. I'm getting extremely frustrated...

Try changing the port that CB uses and see if it helps.

...just restart your computer, and for the love of god, read up on some terms.

P.S. remove the ip you put setting in the server.properties. 192.168.1.1 is your router.

Open your server.properties file and make sure you have NOT assigned anything to the server-ip property. Make sure that 192.168.1.1 is in fact your IP address, and that you have no other instances of the server running.
