Problem with Placing Blocks

i wanted to host a server but after installing a few plug-ins, there's this problem came out which i can't put any blocks in the game, after i place block it just go away after 1 second and it returns to my hand.

The Plug-ins installed and file in the server was:
EssentialsGroupBridge
Essentials
GroupManager (EssentialsGroupManager)
iChat
Permissions

Why do you have permissions and groupManager? You only need one. Make sure you have permission to place blocks. And you might want to replace essentials, its just bulky and troublesome.

so, i can only choose only either permission or groupManager?
which plugin can i replace with essentials?

Yes, permissions and groupManager are one in the same. Permissions is discontinued though. I recommend superPerms like PermissionsBukkit.

As for essentails, what are you using it for?

 

Err, i don't excatly know >.<
i just wanted to try installing groups for the server, but i don't know how to since I am a noob.

then i tried searching google, and i somehow landed on youtube where they say download essentials and stuff.
for essentials i only touched the config file.

If you want essentials dump permissions. Groupmanager is quite a complex plugin because it creates a "fake" permissions and then interperates those permission requests like a bridge. You cant have groupmanager and permissions because there will technically be two plugins named permissions( the fake one & the real one) & i think the real one overrides the requests (not positive).

So just delete the real permissions btw permissions will still appear in the plugin list because of the fake one.

 

Or if you want to up out of Essentials, tell me which commands you use and I'll hook you up with something better!

Errr, I actually wanted to try to improve on how to help the server >.<
Like some commands that Jails Griefers or stuff.
Stuff that will help the server become better enviourment
(targeting for that before doing other plug-ins, pirorities first ^_^)
