Learn batch file programming first. It's like baby code.

(EDIT: baby as in...headcrab vs babyheadcrab. Not coding for babies. I put work into those sentences)

So you know there are many people that are great with java but don't wish to create plugins. And i dont think developing plugins would be the right type of environment for you if you require a teacher. To be successful at programming you need to be able to teach yourself skills & try things until you get it right, I would suggest learning a more basic language before java because there are many "plugin devs" on here that don't even understand what they are doing they just use templates or other source code and sightly modify it. To maintain a plugin you will face issues that your not going to be able to solve with just a tutorial.

Btw i am not trying to say that you shouldn't learn java, its just that i don't enjoy it when i see kids that ask questions in the plugin development thread and use code mostly supplied by other people. If you think you are capable of learning java and creating/maintaining plugins properly then i highly suggest you do it.
