Player disconnected when logging into server, No language file detected? 1.8.1

That is the console error

Minecraft says Disconnected by Server - No language file loaded

Any help? This only happens to certain players.

 

Minecraft/CraftBukkit don't normally display a message about a language file. Please post your entire plugins list so that we can figure out what plugin is causing this.

 

I have this issue too, just *certain* players can't seem to connect, OR can connect some times. its weird. Running #1185 with these plugins:

Spout could be your culprit. Are you running the latest version of spout 1.0.6?

Also I see you are still using Group Manager.. how is that working out for your.. I was reading that the current version of bukkit broke group manager.

I also recommend removing MCbans as you have enough protection on your server with LogBlock and world guard.

 

I have no idea about spout, it automatically appears if I delete it and appears to be part of bukkit (haven't read much news of it, or what it does, probably should).

GroupManager seems to work fine now that I'm using jars from this post

It automaticly appears because you are using LogBlocks Chest logging ability.

If you turn off Log Blocks chest logging it will not auto download spout.

 

hmm, haven't seen any language file errors in a while, apparently the spout update did the trick. thanks for the tip!

Oh, the language error and spout, both. my bad.

I can't really test this as the problem doesn't seem to appear when I am connecting, but its almost constant for some players.

(sensored the log a bit). There doesn't seem to be any weird characters in their usernames or similarities in their IP-addresses or anything. I double checked my log, they apparently can get in occasionally. Both of those users have played yesterday and today, but now they get that disconnecting repeatedly.

edit: also, thought it could be good to mention that both users are in default-group and have no special user rights what so ever.

 

What version of CraftBukkit are you using?

Sorry, I missed that. Most plugins are not 1185 "compatible". Basically, most of your 1060 plugins are fine on 1185, however some (which I can't tell you) aren't. The only way to find out is to take 1 or 2 off at a time and wait for the problem to go away.

 

yea, figured as much. It's just rather painful to troubleshoot this with the guys with the problems :/

oh well, maybe the plugins get updated to 1185++ soon-ish and the problem would magically go away

McBans 3.1 caused this problem.

 

So my recommendation of removing that plugin worked.. Evil MCbans.... messing with ppls servers all the time.

Delete your old mcbans config file and let it make a new one... and then edit it accordingly. Solved it for me.
