    For testing, for older servers, for someone who likes old commands more than new ones...any number of reasons. For the same reasons someone could say "why would you want CB older than 1185?" and yet I'm sure people find it handy that they go all the way back to 617. If they're hosted somewhere, why not have links to them?

    hey i have a mac and i have followed the installation instructions exactly but when ever i type in a command it says for example i type in/b 7 it says:
    /b select-radius example b 5--set brush for the radius size of 5 (11 spaces across) example:/b idr--sets an ink disc replace brush.
    it says this example thing for every command what wrong with it?
    if somone could help me it would be awesome

    They're not all hosted somewhere, to my knowledge. Sorry.
    You didn't install it right. I'd try reinstalling and making sure you installed it properly.

    Fair enough...just thought I'd ask if they were out there somewhere.

    On another note...is there a way to do a no-physics replace brush? I tried using:

    /b b mmp

    which is accepted, and reports back that it's going to do exactly what I want it to do (Brush set to Ball, Brush size set to x, Mat-Mat No-Physics Performer, Voxel set to y, Replace material set to z) but it snipes instead of using a radius.

    You sure it's sniping and not just your no-physics not updating to you? Other than of course for the block you clicked

    Anyone else having problems with the replace brush since CB 1185? I can't get it to work. Also, unable to use mossy or cracked stone brick (can use the regular just fine).

    Ah you're exactly right! Disconnect/reconnect and the blocks appear as they should. Thanks!

    Any ideas why the splatter brush isn't working? I'm trying to use gunpowder to place down shrubs ontop of grass however it's making the shurbs float 2 squares above them meaning they die. It doesn't do it on sand however.

    Shouldn't be problems. Just add the items into the items.txt in your VoxelSniper folder, it'll work like a charm!
    (To get the mossy/cracked you need to use item data values)
    Ball = ball.
    You should use splatter overlay, or sover. This is better for shrubs and flowers.

    I have a feeling I'm still doing something wrong. I'm trying /b sover and the shrubs keep spawning 2 cubes above the ground

    That is quite odd... are you using your gunpowder on a /b sover d1? You may need to configure the settings to change the frequency of the splatters.

    I'm curious as to why some chunks are ignored by voxelSniper as if they're not there.

    I just made a huge crater (ball brush size 45) but a few chunks in it remained unaffected.

    Trying to snipe these just hits a block behind them.

    Is it known why this happens and any way to fix it?

    Edit:
    Restarting the server fixed it, but I'm still curious if anyone knows why it happens.

    For the server they aren't there, they appear to still be there for your client which for whatever reason didn't get / accept the packets of those chunks. It could be packet loss, something wrong with your client, lag(?) maybe. Next time it happens try to fly into the chunk and type /vupdate or try reconnecting / restarting your client.

    Alright thanks. I did try to reconnect but it didn't help. I didn't try to restart the client completely though, or that command.

    Works now, without doing /b sover d1 it places them by default 2 cubes above the ground.

    Also, I think Minecraft has made dead shrubs dissapear on grass since 1.8. Is it possible to place normal green tall grass without converting them with the ink command?

    /b over d1 c

    "C" stands for combo. You can set both your Voxel and your VoxelInk with this brush!
    Did you follow the installation steps completely, try restarting your server, and try re-installing the plugin? If you continually reinstall with errors, tell me your problem.

    It's actually /b over c d1 :)

    I can't seem to get it to work though, it's still producing dead shrubs. I set /v 32 for shrubs and /vi 1 for normal tall grass.

    I had another problem where doing /b d mm to replace red flowers with dead shrubs was deleting a few of the flowers and replacing some of them.

    i have a problem on my smp server where only one person can use voxelsniper at a time. Whoever does /reloadall gets to use it. Any ideas?

    Hello. Great plugin. Use it alot :)
    Just wondering, is it possible to add chests, redstone and pistons to the undo command.
    If you destroy chests with VoxelSniper and then undo, the contents is still gone. Also same with redstone it isn't restored.

    Is it the other shrub id that you need to use, Krebs? Either 31 or 33? And could you rephrase your other problem? I don't quite understand it .
    Huh? Could I come on your server and see exactly what is going on?
    I do know that the undo feature is going to be re-worked in the next update (expect sign text to be saved and half steps to undo properly!). Maybe we can add this! I've suggested your idea to the developers. Glad you're loving the plugin!

    Ok, I've been watching a few of the tutorial videos, and the ones in the original post don't seem to agree on commands. Maybe it's just really complex and over my head, but the World tree, Asteroids, and tutorial seem to use a completely different set of commands.
    I've never tried this plugin, but plan to when I get my server up and running. Any tips for a newbie?
    I may also look into the other voxel plugins, when I get my head around this one.

    I'm also impressed by the dev response time, it's nice to see so much interaction between the creator and users on a plugin. Quite a pleasant surprise.

    Thanks for the compliments! (though I'm not actually one of the devs, just a support guy-przerwap is the main dev here).

    You are correct in noticing some contradiction between the videos and the wiki. Recently we had a major command overhaul, so the videos display incorrect information. I would advise using the "VoxelSniper 5 Release Tutorial" video in conjunction with the written documentation for learning VoxelSniper.

    Wow, I'm being an absolute dafty! I thought I was always using /v 32 pre 1.8 to make shrubs and then inking them over to grass. Thanks for that.

    Thanks, only because I accidently created a 20 sized sphere hole is someones house yesterday and when using /u their chests content wasn't back :)

    I have seen similar issues to this but back in august, where I am using the oceanator, and when I use it, the sea level of the chunk I click on is 1 block too high. I do not want to be making the land around it higher. Is there any updates on this or solutions that I may not know about?

    Should be in there once a dev works on it. Have fun and watch you're snipes! :p

    I'll contact a developer about this. In the mean time, you could use a Voxel Disk of air to remove that excess water.

    Is there a chance there could be a quick fix for this, there was a similar question asked back in august and the issue was being forwarded to Devs.
