That feature is planned. It will probably be done trough a java plugin, not HTTP or FTP, as java would require no configuration. The open beta however will most probably lack this feature (which is still in development)
Basically the plugin tab allows you to:
    - Enable / Disable plugins
    - One-click-install plugins
    - Manage all files associated to the plugin (edit the config and other files, like yml's, from within SpaceBukkit)

For testing I will start the beta signup page as soon as possible :)

McMyAdmin doesn't lock server.properties, you can even edit it while the Minecraft server is running and MCMA will re-read it after you make changes. Just don't change any (server.properties) settings in MCMA before its had a chance to re-read the config file.

That's where my issue is, when I change a setting it resets it or sth. But I don't use McMyAdmin anymore, not enough control for me :p No offence though, it's a nice program!

Little question for you fellas :D
This tool has several features like world management and backup systems, right?
    But I had an idea.
Instead of programming this ourselves and limiting the server admins, we could do it like this:
When you go to the "worlds" tab, the functionality is deactivated. To activate it, you have to choose from a list of currently supported plugins that will handle the world management. For example, you can choose Multiverse, which is then used by Spacebukkit to do operations and retrieve data.
Furthermore, this could be applied to statistics, backups, permissions etc. !
    What do you think?

If you want I can find you all plugins that exist (world plugins, backup plugins, stat plugins, ooh maybe even economy plugins!) for maximal compatibility?

That sounds pretty good to me. I use Multiverse anyway so I couldn't complain even if I wanted to. :p But if it'd save you time and make it better go for it.

Well it sounds good, but there's always a chance that someone will not find their favorite way of doing things in your compatibility list, eh?:p Looking forward to beta

Now only If I knew PHP....... *Sigh* i think there needs to be a Setup.exe and PHPSetup.exe type thing in it, if possible, so those without ANY PHP knowledge could still use this. Oh well! Gotta start learning it!

You don't need any PHP knowledge. SpaceBukkit is installed automatically through a step-by-step installer that guides you in setting up your admin environment. The installer is pretty nice!
Of course that is a possibility. But better that then being limited by just Spacebukkit's functionality.
That could prove to be excellent, Jamy! Could you send me this list via a PM with the links to the forum topics/bukkitdev pages, please? Thank you a lot :)

Unfortunately the tests will start for everybody when beta starts. You can apply for closed beta once I finished that f@@ng beta signup script. Dangit!

Well we are working on it. The problem is: real life hits you hard bro'! (tehehe for internet quote)

I dragged the other developer in front of the computer to start coding today. I can't do everything alone, can I?

    Otherwise it's going good.
I am a bit unsure about one thing though: Code everything alone or use a framework like codeigniter (which I happen to use a lot). On one side, codeigniter will guarantee stability, code transparence, security and more... but on the other side a framework may be too much for this project. (not that it would slow things down, it's just a "feeling").
However Spacebukkit has grown much in the past days, I think the overall structural help a framework gives you is what we need... I fear we might run into a mess of a code at the end if we don't.
Hush hush Antariano, go to sleep. It's too late to think about such things. :D

Personally I hate frameworks, but thats just me.

Frameworks can be helpful and useful as long as they don't slow down what you want to do. So go ahead ! :)

When do you think this will be available to download cause this tool is the only that is looking so good for free ;)
And i actually need this fast unless you know a temporary web start/stop application (no remote toolkit)

If you search, you'll find one. But it depends on how your server setup is.
