Sooo I made a Craftbukkit server, but how do I allow other people to join?
I do NOT have port-forwarding, so I should use LogMeIn Hamachi, which I have been using. However, there is so little information on how to do it on mincraftwiki. net IDK what to do :/ Plz help me find out how to share my SMP with my friends :D tyyvm

you have port-forwarding. If you use a router you do, and if you dont you can just open up the port on your firewall. Really, the better option IMHO.

As for hamachi...there is ample documentation for creating/joining a VPN across the internet.

IMHO means in my honest opinion, but for port forwarding: it is not something that you 'have'
port forwarding means opening network ports on your router. you can acces your router by typing 192.168.0.1 in your address balk(this works for most routers) then you have to fill in a username and a password. on most routers the default username and password is, username: admin password: admin , if this does not work search on google for: (nameofyourrouterhere) default username an password, once you are inside the router you need to be carefull with the settings you change, and you have to port forward the port 25565. once you did that go to: www.seemyip.com and give that ip to your friends. if you still cant figure it out, ill maybe have some time to help you tommorow via teamviewer, good luck ; )

It is, actually...I needed to say "capability"? Your router is usually found as the default gateway in your tcp/ip config...it's not always 192.168.0.1. I've set mine to be x.x.69.1. But there is also a lot of documentation on port forwarding at port forward.com for example. Just ensure that you don't use dhcp for your server...or you'll need to update the forwarded port from time to time

yeh i know but i tried to explain it to him in kind of noob language and just said all the default setting, i hoped he would end up on portfforward.com too when doing that search ; ) it also was a little stupid of me not to tell how to get your default gateway and local ip/ipv4 but i guess he will find that out himself
