So, I installed this plugin, got it all set up on the site etc. but then I became sad. As you already know this plugin clashes with chestshop. Sadly enough, my server is strongly based around the Admin Shop feature and I can't swap this plugin out for another one. If anyone has a different shop plugin that could be swapped out for iConomyChestShop, that'd be great. I was really excited to use BuyCraft and it's something I need :\ If you find any way to allow us to customize the /buy command that would be great. I understand the complexities this comes with so if you can't, it's completely fine. BUT! Great plugin nontheless, and the best of luck to you my friend

Well ya I know it would be legal if you simply called it a donation. And I know Mojang wouldn't give a crap about sueing me. however if it wasn't called donation it probably wouldn't be legal.

 

Turns out ChestShop wasn't the issue, the secret was pasted without a space! DERP. It works perfectly now, thank you

 

I can set everything up, I see my packages when i type /buy, but when I go /buy 1 I get nothing ingame, and console shows

Ok, questions/possible suggestion? when doing /buy, everything works, but upon entering an ID, /buy 1, it shows nothing.

Now upon further testing, I found out that this was an issue due to running the spoutcraft Client, I switched back to default client and the command went through and provided the URL for the purchase.

Thoughts on this, compatibility?

Edit: This would also allow for no need to disable chat for Spoutcraft users, because of the scrolling text feature.

 

Great plugin! Can I make a free package? For example:
Player write /buy ID, and he get package immediately.

 

I'd really like it to run in offline-mode. I have an offline-mode server and it's very popular. Most of the people on the server are people who just found out about minecraft. When they play on it, they like it so much, they'd want to buy it (also, they mainly want the ability to wear skins). So far, at least 10 people have bought the game because of my server. Even Notch isn't against this "pirating". If one person does not buy it, but tells his or her friends about they game, they may buy it. So Notch looses one "potential" sale and makes maybe 3 or 4 more, compared to none if the person who didn't buy the game, couldn't enjoy the mp aspect, and just delete the game(most people only buy the game for multiplayer aspect because building in SP is cool and all, but the only way to show off your buildings is through youtube or something like that).

 

I have this issue too, but it's for the normal client.

Really great plugin! The only thing I can suggest is a /details <ID> command so you can further explain what a purchase does, such as what VIP members get.

So I go to create new package and it tells me to list all the commands. Are those the commands I want them to be able to use? What if I want to give them 64 stone? Would I put in /give user stone 64, or would that give them the ability to use the command?

If someone buys a package, and I edit the package, does it automatically update their package?

No it would not update the players that have allready purchased the package as the plugin sends the commands to the console that were in the package when the user bought it. unless @lmc has made it so if there are changes made it will update the player. but as far as i know they do not update.

 

I'm having a problem, when I type /buy all the packages show up and then I type /buy 1 and nothing happens.

I have a server mostly with a few friends, but the larger part unfortunately comes from online, and I am left to assume they do not own official accounts, however I use a plugin that allows people to lock their offline accounts using passwords in game. Does this resolve your 'could-be' security issue in any way?
Was excited for this, until I came across that point. It's like trying to switch to spout all over again.

 

The commands you enter are the commands you tell the server to execute when it receives the payment.
"/give user stone 64" Would give the user 64 stone. If you wanted to give them the /give ability, you'd have to add them to a group with that permission, or add that individual permission to their username.

Ok guys back from vacation now and all good. Ive decided that im looking into adding offline-support, and also expiring packages will be released in the next few days, im currently busy with something else.

Everytime I try to buy something with the /buy <ID> command it says your account is showing as a non-premium Minecraft account

 

Hmm.. is there any errors being shown in the console?

 

I changed the API secret and now when I type /buy everything shows up normally but when I type /buy 1 it doesn't say anything.
