there is a new groupmanager, it comes with essentials

  4. Essentials dropped GM, unfortunatly! And a few days ago Ive encountered the first plugin thats not compatible with GM! :(
We need GM - theres no other plugin thats as slick with a fantastic command syntax!

I am making with my team (Ksc)
    GroupManager+

This will be a fully updated, and working with all the new bukkit builds.
It will have the same functionality as GM, just making it better.
It will be submitted very soon hopefully :)

The best thing to go with right now is PEX. It supports SuperPerms as has compatibility with the legacy permissions plugin. I don't have the exact link, but there has been a lot of discussion and debate of why many plugin devs aren't support superperms and why it doesn't deserve to be called a standard yet.

@gamerzgalorz Essentials dropped GroupManager -- they stopped working on it. Soon, no plugin will support it.

Yes, it will, but you should start getting used to SuperPerms (like PermissionsBukkit and bPermissions) because eventually you will be forced to switch and it's going to be tough switching if you have no idea what you're doing.

I prefer GroupManager out of all the permission plugins out there. It is shame to see it go to waste...
