GoldEnchant - Enchant Golden Armor:

you start off with a diamond block and you place it on the ground then you take a gold piece of armor and right click the block and you get mystical powers in that armor here are what they do.

* golden chestplate =immunity to fire and lava damage
* golden helmet = breath underwater
* golden shoes = no fall damage
* golden pants = super speed and flying while holding shift

* (goldEnchant.enchant) to allow enchanting

Yeah, how about you remove that inbuild permissions and start integrating Permissions 3.1.6.

 

I am using Permissions 3.1.6... Of course, I haven't actually tried using the plugin yet...

 

it uses built in permissions3.1.6 because permissions does not officially support recommended build 1000 and super permissions uses a very easy to implement code so not to be rude but I'M STICKING WITH SUPER PERMISSIONS

 

Well, finally got around to trying the plugin and I have a bug report. Chestplate does not protect against lava damage

 

hmmmm in my tests it does idk y it wont work any errors?

 

No errors that I saw, enchanted fine (Turned to chain), when I fell in some lava I started taking damage immediately.

World edit: yes (Server won't run without it at this point) World Guard: Dear god no!

 

hmmm ok then i hear there are some problems with worldguard and damage
so idk what could couse the problem

 

Well, I'm using the no permissions version, and I'm a server OP, I think I'm going to test the others and see if any of them are working and I'll get back to you.

 

Nothing happens when i right-click gold armor to a diamond block. help?

 

You probably don't have permission to enchant, at least that would be my guess.

Well, I am admin on my permissions so I'm pretty sure i get the permission without needing to add the permission node to myself.

 

do you have permissions3.1.6?

 

Okay, I've done some testing, and it seems it's just the chestplate that's not working for me.
Edit: Tried again with a full set of enchanted armour and it worked for a few seconds, but the damage sound/effects were triggering, and I started taking damage very slowly
Edit 2: Immune to fire damage, just not lava.

I was, but since I don't use Bukkit permissions, it didn't work at all, so I swiched over to the non-permissions version.

 

that may be it then because i just quickly took out the permissions to make that so ya

 

Well, I suppose I should try out the permissions version when I get bukkit permissions up and running and see if the problem persists?

Well, I ran into a minor problem...I can't find any information on setting up Bukkit's built in permissions. So, probably a stupid question, but: Is it the same system as Permissions 3.x? Or what?

I thought Bukkit's built in permissions wouldn't need a plugin to work...

 

idk i just use the plugin to manage the permissions and groups

 

Well, I have Permissions 3.x, so it would conflict with the one you have linked, so it probably wouldn't work...
