    I'm going to try starting from scratch gate-wise and see if that helps.

    EDIT: O_O I deleted all the gates from FCServerA using the regular /trp gate destroy <game method and the connection fixed itself and is working perfectly now. Want me to get you all the files the plugin on FCServerA was using so that you can find where the problem was?

    I've heard of another report of this. I'll have to do some testing on the code base for v7.0.

    Good to hear. No, I don't need the files. A lot of stuff has changed in v7.0 and trying to pinpoint the problem in the old cold would just confuse my small brain.

    Is it possible to add support for Bukkit's Superperms. We're planning on using a custom permissions plugin soon on our server, but we're unable to until all our plugins convert to the new permissions.

    Hi, we are really enjoying your plugin, but there is one thing we don't like: that the inventory stays the same if you go to another server. Could you please add an option to change this? We want to link a Creative building server with an RPG server, and this little thing is a bit annoying. Thx for making this :D

    Huh? What feature are you asking about?

    Might be related to the bad threading I used for loading/creating worlds. It's fixed in v7.0.

    I'll look into it, but I'm not sure how it relates right now.

    Making it necessary to use a portal in ServerToServer portals, meaning you can't connect to a server without going through a portal. :)

    Unless I'm misunderstanding, that's how it works now. The only way to go to another server without using a gate is the "trp go ..." command, but you can lock that down with permissions. Is it something different you're after?

    Isn't this how it is now? I mean, none of my users can connect to the other server without going through the portal. I guess I don't understand what you're asking for either.

    I'm running a personal server with my friends and myself, we have multiple worlds linked to one server and everything runs smoothly no problems (yay!). Is there a command or a setting in the config.yml that will turn monsters off for all the worlds i have linked to the main one? i'm still not too savvy with Bukkit, butim learning as i go! Any and all help is appreciated. :D

    That's a standard Bukkit config option for each server (in server.properties):

    There's only one command for linking gates anywhere: "trp gate link add ...". Gates in other worlds have a prefix of the world name. Use "trp gate list" to get a complete list of all linkable gate names. Any of the listed names can be used.

    I am having a hard time putting colored wool into the block keys without getting an error. This is my syntax..

    @frdfsnlght Really wonderful plugin. It works well. I really enjoy it though seams that spout causing some nasty crashes. I have a few questions though.

    1) How do you prevent duping or inventory loss back and forth from servers.
    2) Is there a way redirect a player from server1 to server2 without having to fully login to the game? Spout offer anything for this? I hated this before and went proxy I hate to have this happen again hehe.


    @Raphfrk Seams like he has a crash I'm think spout issue. When you log on server1 and go to server2 then log off and go to server1 and it ports you almost instant to server2 once the map loaded and your sort of in the portal it locks the client up and black screens it.

    I assume this is a spout bug :(

    Not sure. Can you try manually doing it with vanilla. It is possible that the kick message is incorrectly formatted. What happens if you teleport between the 2 servers over and over?

    Also, this is the advantage of the proxy, it forces connection to the "right" server, rather than having to transfer the player to the right server if they make a mistake.

    Vanilla no crash. Spout seams to cause me a black screen though if I login and was on the wrong server last sitting at a portal.

    BTW I loved the proxy back in the day. But you never really rewrote it or it had some the same bugs. It was amazing though back then :(

    @Raphfrk sorry getting late going bed. Tried again for fun it crashed this time with vanilla I assume it was a fluke. So I assume plugin fault for passing it off wrong.

    If it is my plugin, I'm not sure what the problem is. However, it seems I should make a change anyway and "gate lock" a player if they appear inside a gate when they join a server. This would at least prevent the issue of getting immediately TP'ed to server2 (which should probably be handled by the proxy anyway).

    In v6.10, you can do ban/allow/replace lists on each gate. In v7.0 you will be able to block all inventory transfer per gate. And maybe some other options as well.

    I don't think I can do that. The player has to be logged in for the plugin to be able to do most anything useful. I don't know about Spout's capabilities. I think proxy is the only way to do this (nicely).

    I have 4 servers and I wanted to make them talk together with gates. But they use the same IP :

    trp server add server1 153.154.155.12 server1Key

    should I use 153.154.155.12:25565 ?

    I did it also but it still doesn't work so I think I did something wrong... can someone help me ? please ?

    Based on the numbers in your picture, it looks like the port numbers you're talking about are for the MC server, so it's not surprising it's not working.

    The add server command wants the plugin address/port in the position you're asking about (you have the correct format). Since you're running all the servers on the same IP, you'll also need to provide the MC address/port as the last argument after the server key.

    Each MC server needs to listen on a different port, and each Transporter plugin needs to listen on a different port, so with 4 servers, you'll have 8 port numbers total.

    on my own server i opened the gate, and it said it connected. but when i went through, it loaded me in the wrong server. details: my friend and his brother own 2 servers, mc.loginto.me and mc.loginto.me:25567 i'm trying to connect to mc.loginto.me:25567, but whenever i go through my portal, it takes me to mc.loginto.me when i created the connection with the server, i put in mc.loginto.me:25567, so idk why i'm going to the other one. i even tried making it so my server uses the 25567 port also, but that didn't help. i would LOVE help please, we really want to get things running! if it matters, my IP is 69.62.195.204:25567 but i can easily switch to 69.62.195.204

    RE-EDIT:
    when i type in the console command "trp server list" i get the following:
    [INFO] [Transporter] 1 servers:
    [INFO] [Transporter] server2: mc.loginto.me:25567 'server2Key' [*] up/down

    and on my friends server:
    [INFO] [Transporter] 1 servers:
    [INFO] [Transporter] server1: 69.62.195.204:25567 'server1key' [*] up/down

    someone said i need to list the mc listen ports? idk exactly how to do that.
    if they meant the listenAddress in the config file, both of ours say:
    listenAddress: 0.0.0.0
    is it supposed to be different?
