    Permissions 3.0
Rcjrrcjr has been working quite hard on this upgrade to Permissions. However, it currently still suffers from a number of bugs. The most important of these which directly affects HeroChat is the non-functioning of prefixes and suffixes. There are less-than-pretty workarounds, but I'm refraining from fully supporting an update until Permissions 3.1 is released which should include a number of significant bug fixes. When this does occur, however, I have a build ready for you guys that should work. You can download it here. Again, I highly suggest not using this until Permissions 3.1 is released unless you really don't care about prefixes and such.

See you when I get back!

Is your config resetting when you make changes?
If you make changes to the config while the server is running, you need to use the /ch reload command to make the changes stick. I wish this message wasn't necessary, but people only seem to read things in big, bold, red text (if at all).

Have a problem? a feature request? Go here.
HeroChat now has its very own redmine found here. If you have an issue or would like to suggest a new feature, I urge you to file it via redmine. I will be checking this much more often than this thread from here on out.

You can either diasable prefixes on Towny, or on HeroChat.

How can I un-ignore an ignored user? (the opposite to /ignore comand, i mean? )

    Let's face it.

This plugin is dead. Alot of ppl that are asking for Factions support are simple being ignored. Please, someone with good coding skills could for god's sake take over this project and release a newer version with all the features ppl have been waiting for ?

  13. Offline

    dirkson

wget is how you download things onto servers. If you're not using it and you're running a minecraft server, you're probably doing something wrong. (Unless you prefer curl, links, firefox+scp or something crazy like that.)

  14. Offline

    Redyugi

    Or you have FTP access.

  15. Offline

    dirkson

True, that's a good point. I tend to dislike ftp for being unencrypted and being usable for things that ought to be encrypted, but people could use a local download+ftp instead of a local download+scp.

Still damn inefficient, particularly for those of us with lame slugs for local bandwidth.

I would really like to apply HeroChat to my server, but the link only gives me the following files:
Meta-Inf, com, etc. It pops up as "HeroChat.jar" but every time I extract it, only these files appear. Please help!

    fffizzz

it will be updated soon. They've been putting priority into another plugin at this time to get it released.

Besides, since you cant do prefix/suffix with permissions anymore, it has to be built into the plugin now. mChat i think it is, supports superperms and bukkitperms at this time.

I rely on chat channels though, when you have 30+ on a server its way to much chat spam.

Hi, i am trying out this plugin and it will not seem to remove regular chat, both chats appear. I am sorry if this doesnt make sense here is a screenshot:
as you can see, It shows it first in herochat then in the regular chat form.

Can you help me fix this? I don't want to sign up for Redwire or whatever. Thanks!

Remove essentialschat or whatever other chatplugin you have installed at the same time

It seems that with herochat, no chat shows up in MCMAs console..
This is a problem.. A big one
