[MECH] VoxelMore v1.3.1 - Community Item Duplication

    Yes, it seems to not be loading in the newest build. Here's my error:

    hey, would it be too much to ask if you made it so this plugin (and voxel doop when its released) can only be used on certain worlds? if so that would be AWESOME, because ive been using your VoxelPort to link to other maps, one for survival, creative, large projects, and a general map, and id love to restrict all of the item duping and creating to just the creative map

    i've just returned from a brief vacation. evilseph and peter have done some really nice work on the plugins while i was out of town. i will be doing some final testing, attending to new documentation and getting the plugins released in the next day or so, so stay tuned.

    Are you using the latest recommended build? Plugin devs build their plugins to work with those, usually ;)

    Give it a re-download. Made a quick tweak to things that should help compatibility greatly.

    I don't know about other users, but the /m command doesn't work anymore with the latest update. /more still works fine though. Is this just a bug for me or for everyone? I tried re-downloading the plugin, but still the same issue....

    Hello,
    thanks a lot for this TOP-Mod, it`s great peasure to "work" with it in Game.
    So just a little question from my side and a little help needed regarding permissions to Doop.
    We are using a litle private Hamachi-powerd Server with many Server-Mods, all working very nice with the Bukkit-Server build 544.
    My wish is to only get Admins (+ Mods) the right to use VoxelDoop (mainly regarding the restricted use of the "more"-Feature in game)
    Please tell me:
    1. Is it possible to restrict the use of "VoxelDoop" via the "Permissions"-Mod or/and "GroupManager"-Mod to only the Admin / Moderator ?
    2. If this will be possible, please can someone give me an template of this configuiration in "Permissions" and / or "GroupManager" ?
    (I use GroupManger with it`s "FakePermission" Plugin, because this was the only way I managed to get Bukkit builds later than build 461 to a clear working with all my used Plugins/Mods WITHOUT giving allways some error-messages by the Server).

    Any Help will make me a little more glad...;-)

    all our plugins will implement a permissions system once bukkit itself has its own permissions / restriction system implemented. we're not interested in developing for the "meantime" solutions like groupmanager or permissions, it's just too much work for features we wouldn't be using ourselves, and our priority is usually placed on running our server itself for our members.

    VoxelDoop was designed with a "this is for everyone" mentality in mind - that's why the tools are so friendly, easy-to-use and designed to be kind of "fun".

    if you're looking for a more restricted tool that we develop, i recommend you look at VoxelSniper, which negates the need to carry around blocks entirely.

    Hi,
    thanks a lot for Your advice.
    In the meantime I tried (one hour ago) that "VoxelSniper" ... and this ist exactly the way You told, very easy with much fun to use.
    (And the included "Permission" sniper.txt file does 100% what it is intended to do ...;-)... in my case mainly to avoid perhaps any (false) usage by some other Players.)

    Keep up envolving Your very nice "Voxel-Mods", they are one of the very best at all.

    If you mean being able to allow/deny access to the command per world, my version combined with GroupManager 1.0 or Permissions 2.5 does just that. I made it since it was what I needed to make people playing in the creative world on my server more independent and requiring admins to give them items less, but without permissions there was no way to stop them from using it on the survival world too, so I really had no choice but to add Permissions support since I needed it :p

    uh crippling bug here IF you take half block (cobble) and /pick 4 then mouse over the changed block the game crashes

    It seems this plugin does no range checks on the optional argument that can be passed to /more which is the number of duplicate stacks to create. Someone on the www.minecraftmiddleearth.com server figured out that if you do a "/more 99999" you'll bring the server to its knees.

    Is there a way to limit the /pick command?

    I have players using "/pick 0" on tools to repair them and "/pick 0" on charcoal to turn it into coal which they then turn around and sell (because on my server you can sell coal but not charcoal).

    I'm quite sure that /more will only duplicate enough stacks to fill your inventory. This command creates no entities on the ground.

    I do not believe there is a solution to that (I can ask przerwap or another developer about it), but a quick question -- why do you have a server economy if you also have VoxelMore?
