    Multiverse 2 - World Creation/Management/Teleportation & More​

    Description
    Multiverse 2 is a ground up rewrite of the popular Multiverse plugin for CraftBukkit. There are many new features, the biggest one being the much better usability and cleaner code! MV2 has been in the works for over 2 months and given the size of it, the developers are confident that you'll find a small bug or two. Please come into our IRC channel and discuss politely with us and we'll get it resolved quick-fastly!

    Looking for the old version that runs on CraftBukkit 1000? We don't have it anymore :( Here's an archive of the old help post. If you're a new user, we REALLY recommend using Multiverse 2..

    People can't log into my 1060 Bukkit Server!:
    Are you using spout? If so, you need to upgrade it to a dev version or disable it until those guys release a 1060 compatible version.

    How do I know if I'm running CB XXXX or higher?:
    Type /version. The number here is your CB version:

    this is really an amazing mod :) but theres one thing that i think would make it even better. I have no idea if its possible or not but it would be really cool if when you entered a portal to another world, it would spawn you outside the portal, not the spawn point. So when you die, you go to the spawn, and so portals feel more connected. Kinda like that warpgate mod on Hmod. (i think it was called warpgate anyway :p)

    While I was kicking ass and chewing bubblegum on the server, I found that there was something wrong with the Permissions file. Since I run it all through a terminal, I am too lazy to figure it out. But, you said you'd take a look at it, so here it is.

    Is it just me or does entering a nether world force monsters to start spawning again? I have them disabled but they start spawning as soon as somebody enters the nether world.

    Somehow I can only delete blocks from my world2 world when I have super pickaxe enabled.

    Anyone know how to fix this?

    I am using for teleportation the WormholeXTreme - the plugins to work together like a charm! :)

    For some reason, the portal doesn't seem to work, even though it worked like 2 hours ago.

    Right now, Me and 2 friends are in this world called "Log". When we talk, it shows up as [LOG]USERNAME
    when i type /mv create eee normal the world created normally.
    then i made a nether portal, put the sign as

    Blank
    [mv]
    eee
    blank

    jumped through, and nothing happened. It worked before when i was alone

    My permissions says this:

    Not working at all on 303 just so yall know.

    Edit 2 Maybe thats not the case cause im on 297 and its still not working and thats weird cause i had it on my local server working with 297 :/ live server has issues FFS

    I think i found the cause Controller Block And Monsterhunt were Crashing the plugin loader and the plugin was not loading.

    There is no proper way to control mobs in an alternate world atm... will keep an eye out for a CB change that allows this.

    I may look into the Creature_Spawn event...

    Teleport back to the default world then back to this world, theres a bug atm where when you log into your server and you spawn in the non default world... you can't destroy blocks. This is a bug with craftbukkit.

    Have you built the two portals too close to each other? Are the signs clashing???

    What other plugins are you running?

    If you're still having issues and can't find a problem I can join the server to have a look when you have some spare time.

    That shouldn't be the case, people are using this on servers with more than 10 people etc...

    Can you pastebin your config and your server log.

    Currently a bug with CraftBukkit itself, same as sometimes random blocks will appear. I believe this is being addressed.

    Whenever someone goes to a new world, they can build but they can't destroy. We've moved "miles" away from the spawn and yet people cant destroy, but they can build.

    Get them to teleport back to the original world then back again... if that still doesn't work then either theres a problem with your map or another plugin you have installed.

    If you still get the problem can you report back with the plugins you have installed as well as the CraftBukkit version.

    so i just installed the plugin and i did the permissions now i start the server and it works fine. when i type /mv create (name) (environment) it causes me to get kicked and it says internal server error. what did i do wrong?

    I have a little problem XD
    If i want go to World2 i come to the Nether XD (with portal)
    If my friend go to World2 then he come without a problem to World2
    So why i come to Nether ?
    Im a Admin he is a Default user.

    But if i in world2 and want back to World1 i can move to the Portal and i come without a problem to world 1.

    Your best bet is to place your server.log at pastebin so I can view it.

    Have you got essentials installed? If so make sure in its config you disable nether and portals. Also make sure you have MultiVerse v0.5.4 that fixes part of the Essentials issue.

    If that however doesnt fix it, make sure your portals arnt too close to each other.

    Apologies I screwed that section up... for some reason I placed it into the main admin part of the permission...

    They can still use '/mvhelp' though, anyone on the server can use that by looks of things.

    Make sure you are away from spawn. If's not spawn then can you list your plugins as well as verifiying that its not the following known issue -

    I know it is possible to create a world with mobs and one with no mobs, but is it possible to have pvp in a specific world only?

    Will look into it however I believe the same goes for PVP as it does for Mobs, theres no CraftBukkit way of setting them to on or off atm.

    Does your default world have pvp disabled, I think it takes the same variables from the 'server.properties' file.

    Will look into how other plugins allow PVP within a specific region.

    Yes my default has it disabled, yet it has mobs disabled too, but when I create a new world, mobs.
