How to ban a block from being spawned by the game.

Hey everyone,


Recently, I've been experiencing a problem on my server, regarding ice spawning in all water sources on the entire map. I'm guessing that (when the server crashed, which it did randomly) all biomes were converted to snowy biomes? I'm not sure, but this ice is incredibly annoying. I recently learned that my backup system failed after I updated CraftBukkit, so the map doesn't have a backup except for the one right after we created it.

Is there a way I can ban ice from being spawned by the server, or just ban the block in general? Ice isn't commonly used in builds on the server anyway, so I don't care if it's gone

use WorldGuard and you can blacklist certain blocks from being in the game

 

also if you need a backup plugin this one works great I use it for my server as well.

I thought that was blacklisting users from placing/using the blocks, not banning them from the game.

 

ohh it might be, I have never used that feature lol

 

WorldEdit blacklist doesn't affect it. D:
