I'd like to remove all instances of a specific block (e.g. diamond ore) in a world and prevent any new generating (when players move to new areas). What I really need is a way to create a creative, peaceful world with no valuable minerals, and a complementing wild survival world with many enemies that has all the valuables. The worlds would be connected with portals.

Is it possible to separate player planted blocks from the natural generation? I'd like to remove only the natural ones.
