Best way to stop lag?

Title says it all.
Any Suggestions?

 

Analyse the problem by using the tools your OS provides.
Then write down your server specs and a concrete question.

 

I had with 20 Users 16 TPS, then i changed view-distance=10 to 5 and i had with 25 users 20 TPS

(With DynMap, mcMMO, Falsebook and 50 other plugins with 1,8 GB RAM)

Java command arguments that meet your system's specifications and using Java 7. Both great ways to optimize your server.

 

To me it sounds like you have a lot of plugins that may cause it and very little ram for running a big Minecraft server.

 

I know .. but my hoster don't want give me more ram
i said him i pay 20 euro more, its okay .. but he said he cant -.-
