I have a strange issue. My cousin has been playing on this one world and having fun. However, after one day, whenever this world was loaded into the server, it would majorly lag a lot (even "say poop" took forever to show up on the console!" and I would have to force-close the server. I was trying to figure out the issue, and after I tried removing that world the server worked fine. I know it's not high CPU/RAM usage because it worked perfectly until one morning, and I even removed another world and it had no effect. Well, I think I have Java 6 Update 26. Win 7 Home Premium 32-bit, 2GB of RAM, AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 1.80GHz (Yes, I know. I need more RAM and a better CPU, and I should b getting more RAM soon.), and the server works perfectly fine without it (albeit with some lag for players and a major slowdown of my system...ehe).

Thanks, and WHAT'S THE DARN PROBLEM?

if the map has overhangs or is full of caves you could be overrun with mobs try limiting or turning those off in multiverse to see if it has an effect. also running water is expensive on cpu and ram try to hunt that out. that will most likly fix you up. also try to be sure your multiverse is updated as well as all of your other plugins

Can your cousin, or anybody else on the map, spawn items?

Probably mob issues, massive amounts of water can also cause rampant mob spawns.
