HELP!

I am trying to make my own Bukkit server but can not figure out how to make a cracked one. I am using a windows XP computer SP2 and I think it is 32 bit. How do I make it work with MinecraftSP? It says "User Not Premium" When I try to log onto the server I made with Bukkit.

If Bukkit does not let you make these servers let me know.

... I got the solution, but I don't like to post it here.
I do it to test my servers with other players.

PS: I do have other users playing, but making them test out dangerous permissions, bad idea.

 

I would have bought it but then they changed it so that when you buy Minecraft you no longer get all future updates. So I downloaded SP

you still get all updates until release free, and still you can get more updates free. its just because the lawyers they have didnt like it.

 

Ugh... Here's the solution:
Navigate to server.properities and change online-mode=true to online-mode=false

Now you should be able to log in with a modified version of minecraft or whatever you're using.
just to tell you what it does; this disables the minecraft server (what you know as bukkit) to check if the username and password is correct on minecraft.net

I wouldn't suggest to take it out to the public thought since hackers might occur. Piracy is your problem. And I would rather suggest to buy the game now than later. I even got several gift codes in alpha that will probably go to waste on friends.

Are you saying you are giving those gift codes away?

 

You don't get the updates that you need to pay for (which will be few); But other updates will still be free.
Think about it as Downloadable content.

 

All updates to release are included. After that its a grey zone. There will be free ones, and paid ones.

 

I don't like to sell what I've bought ... No you wont get them since you downloaded pirate.

Notch's player.dat system is horrible but there are multiple ways to get cracked clients. I had a cracked account with online and offline, (still works now) where you can also change your name easily in online mode. I won't be distributing it though.

 

You know instead of asking such questions touching illegal grounds and listening to us mocking you, you could have freaking used GOOGLE and have your answer in a minute...

I am buying Minecraft soon... by the way I did not realize that Bukkit was not a server mod that is meant to be used with the cracked version.

I don't think the bukkit team wants their forums encouraging piracy of the game the forum is about.

 

This has nothing to do with piracy, this is perfectly ok to do.

 

well.. it's perfectly legal it does mean that ANYONE can pretend to be YOU on your server.. so that's not really ok.

but it does let you play on the weekends when the auth servers implode
