When I use /toggle trader , it says "Correct usage: /toggle <reg, change>" and if i try to use one of them, it says " [xAuth]Node disable"

This cannot be done unless you use a name of the player that uses a skin. This is a limitation of bukkit, not the plugin.

    /toggle guard

However, guards are not complete, so they are still buggy.

I'd just like to remind everyone to READ THE TOPIC AND THE WIKI BEFORE POSTING BUG REPORTS/COMPLAINTS. The fact that the only time people read something is when it is bolded, in red, and in CAPS is pathetic. Unfortunately, still no one will read.

Also, anyone coming into the IRC asking for an ETA will be banned.

    hello,

Is there a way to prevent users to make an unlimited stock store?
because I want my users to be able to create an own store but not an unlimited because I want them to keep the stores filled.

Hi Fullwall, I think this is the exact problem I am having with citizens, and for the record, the only remaining persistent problem that exists for me with the plugin (I've been along for the ride since about version d). It seems for me that when no other players are on the server, if I wander far away enough from our town for long enough that when I come back a couple of citizens have disappeared. If I hang around the town all day they never seem to go. The strange thing is that it is always the same culprits who disappear whereas there are others who are always there regardless. They are definitely gone because I cannot select them with NPC select id.

Really hoping you can identify a fix or workaround for this - is there anyway citizens can periodically run through its npc list and make sure they are all loaded or something? I am currently on B243.

Anyway, as always, I really appreciate the effort you guys have put into this plugin. It is without doubt, the richest enhancement we have made to our world.

@ferretlegs - when I have the time, I will look into our chunk loading code.

Meh, when I go to do /toggle wizard, or /toggle guard, or /toggle anything, it says there was an internal error. It goes as: "An internal error occurred while attempting to perfom this command". But yet, I can do /toggle all on/off. I know the guard is glitchy, but I get that error everytime.

    Hi Fullwall,
I really love citizens and have made great use of them in my town, but I have just recently run into a strange problem.
I had just downloaded the Levelcraft plugin (not sure if it's related) and when I went back to the NPC city, all the NPCs were gone! I couldn't even select them with "/npc select ID". I went into the config files and most of it looked in order (the texts were saved, the toggles were saved ie blacksmith file had id40 in it). But then I checked the locations file and I had nothing. Now, I've never looked through the citizens configs before but I'm guessing this is the problem. How can I "respawn" all the citizens back into their locations, or at least respawn them?

Here are some config files I think might be useful:

Citizens.counts (I'm not sure about what this is):
    #Citizens File

And that's it. I would really appreciate if you could help restore my citizens, I put a lot of work into them and it looks like only a couple of files got mysteriously wiped (I didn't put the text config in because it looked fine). Thank you for this great plugin!

ps I use clanforge/multiplay to run my server. I checked and the plugin is up to date.

I've been looking through the configs again for the past 30 minutes and can't find any config that matches IDs to names. Damn.... I wish clanforge had a config backup feature.

Hello, great plugin. I just want to state one thing and ask one too. First off i think the wiki is so basic and it needs more information/editing. Secondly, is there a way to change when an npcs name is seen? I mean the distance. Thank you.

I just love this plugin!! Only thing is I added Regios (not sure if this affected npc or not) and now i can't even open up the trader inventories and I'm an Admin. I can select the Npc's but that's about it :(

any help would be very much appreciated.

Reading the OP is always a good idea, however this time, it is of no use. There's nothing in the OP about the plugin spawning aPunch and Herobrine NPCs by default.

An option I would like (I didnt read every single post so sorry if is has been mentioned already)

On traders it would be nice if we could prevent them from buying unrepaired items and/or have them buy at a percentage based on item damage. (a pick with 50% of uses left would be bought for 50% of set cost etc..)

The reason for this is I am attempting to set up a central market that basically buys/sells most items in game. Currently if I allow the NPCs set as unlimited to buy and sell pickaxes(etc) no matter the profit margin you can "scam" them by selling nearly broken items and buying new ones.

Secondly it would be nice to eventually allow a trader to buy/sell in multiple quantities. (maybe a command switch by a player would toggle the multiple?) Such as "/trader multiple 5 " to set it to 5 items bought/sold at once.

Once it was in place you could add another piece of functionality at the same time and have the traders have a maximum item limit for buying.

    Something like:
    /trader buylimit <item> <itemprice> <itemamount>
Where <item> = Item ID, <itemprice> = price of one of the items, and <itemamount> = The number of items you want the trader to buy.

This could either supplement the current command structure or replace it.

Currently I have worked around this by having two npcs, one that sells/buys 1 item at a time and one the sells/buys 10 at a time. It is adequate the additional functionality would be nice.

This plugin requires a lot of work but it has promise. Been around for a while now and still at this stage, well im watching hopefully it will be updated soon. If done properly this could be an epic plugin, one that would be a definate for any server

I've searched through and still haven't found the answer.
How about the issue with traders and variations of items (like dye, sapling types) ?
Is it possible to sell them? I've been trying to figure it out but since the way of entering items and amounts (they are divided with ":") i can't really sell those stuff. Maybe a little change of the way of entering, instead of ":" maybe ";" or "-"?

Also it would be nice to be able to create a folder with skins so that you can assign them later to a NPC.

  29. hi i was wondering do you think you could implement a pathfinding system? also maybe making npcs able to follow players or even fight for them?

  30. I had Citizens sitting on my Server a few days and didnt get around to test it. But after my ChestShop Plugin started to throw out iConomy Related errors, and an Update of both later. I finally got around to test this great Plugin.
And it Immediatly confronted me with a (seems like) iConomy related Error.
After I turned econPlugin of in the Config it works relativly Fine. But id rather use iConomy.

Iam Running Bukkit 860 with iConomy 5.1
Hope you can Help me, or this Helps you fix a Bug.
