I was using it until it required permissions; I really really really really dislike permissions and wont use any plugin that uses it just because of it's unfriendly nature. Does anyone have an alternative for things like /spawn, /tp,/give etc?
Whats your problem wirth Permissions? Essentials is a alternative ... ok for spawn/home you can use SpawnControl. But better get friendly with permissions, many mods use that
it's just way too much hassle to setup and use. I really can't be bothered to learn how it works because it's so overly complex; any addon that says "Supports Permissions!" I stay well clear of. I originally tried it and got spammed with about 25 errors, so i was like, screw this. And also; if it worked for every addon, maybe it'd be worth it. but people have to go out of their way to support it.. It's a terrible addon.
Mu plugins have those commands and no permissions... See the sig for /setspawn, /spawn, and some basic commands, like /tp, /item (=/give), /time, ... --- merged: Feb 5, 2011 2:52 AM --- Yeah, that's the exact reason, why I made all my plugins. I know why I don't need permissions and I know how I want my server for 3 people. And since nobody cared, I said, screw you, I'm gonna help myself!
