Hello, I'm pretty new to all this CraftBukkit stuff, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I've got a server online now and I'm able to download whatever plugins I need and for the most part get them working. I've been looking for a plugin that will protect certain areas and make it so only specific players can modify that location. For now, I mainly want to do this so no one will mess up the starting area, but I also want to make it so if a player builds a house or something, I can make it so that player is the only one that can modify the selected area. I have been looking for a plugin that can do this but can't seem to find one anywhere. Does anyone have any suggested plugins or know how this can be achieved? Thanks!

You will also need to know proper in game command syntax, I would definitely check out the wiki for world guard as well as use this Cheat Sheet for Worldedit as it is extremely useful..

No problem if you can, try to print it out as it is easier to read when on paper.

Okay... I still can't figure out how to set it so a region can only be edited by a specific player... I can't find out how to first set a region either. The command has me kinda confused. I'm pretty sure I first need to use /region define, but I'm not sure what else to put. What should be written in the <id> section?

select a region with world edit using the wooden axe
    then define that region
You may need to read and watch a few tutorials as the learning curve is quite steep.
Trial and Error is really your best way to learn, start a new world and go nuts...

This is how to create a region...

I have done this in my world, but now i'm trying to figure out how to just protect that area from TnT and Firespread without disabling it for the whole world...
