Water and lava weirdness?

    Water sometimes doesnt flow from the source, also when the source is removed the water stays? How do i fix this? :s

    I can't answer definitively without knowing exactly what you're seeing (screenshots help), but it might just be normal. Here are a few things I can think of that might be confusing:

    1. In multiplayer, water doesn't start flowing instantly the way it does in singleplayer, because the server has to tell your client to make the water flow and that causes a delay.
    2. Even after removing a source block it can take some time for all the water to disappear, depending on how much of it there is.
    3. Water usually stays around as long as it's connected to at least one source. So if you have two water sources that connect at some point and you remove one of the sources, the water from it will often stay around unless you remove the second source as well.
    4. When a source block is placed and there are multiple directions that it could flow, it generally only flows into one of them and you have to block that direction off to make it flow somewhere else.

    He is probably using spawned water, as in /i water.

    Oh ok thanks. Also experiencing troubles with redstone. Specifically when i make rapid fire. It becomes dead not pulsating or anything just dead.

    the torch burned out it is part of minecraft it is not a glitch
