Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to assign different data to homogenous items while retaining their stacking ability. For instance, if I wanted to give two diamonds two different sets of data and still be able to stack them, would that be possible? Using lore hasn't worked. Any other options?

    Thanks.

@BlueMints But if you stack them, what would the result be then?

Well, I was looking to assign a sort of ID for each of the same types of items while making them function like unaltered items. Ideally, the ID is a way of distinguishing the same type of item. It's an issue I'm trying to sort out to see if the plugin I want to develop is feasible.

@BlueMints Metadata needs to be the same, so don't think that you can stack them.
