No 2 tools at same time in inventory

Suggested name: No2Tools

What I want: I have a server where the guns are tool hoe , pickaxe, shovels and axes

I want players to be able to pick weapon of other players they kill but I only want them to have 1 gun/tool at a time.
So I need a plugin that does not allow the player to have more than 1 tool.

Ideas for commands: /inventorytoolconfig

Ideas for permissions: No permission, all player have this including admins, op's.

 

They would have to drop their actual tool to grab to one of the player they just killed

 

To enable or disable the plugin the admin should just type /no2tool enabled or /no2tool disabled

Also ! Sword is used as a knife so it is not considered a tool

You can take your time it's just to know if it's possible or if we should just give the hole you can switch guns on the battlefield idea up.

It ended up taking a lot less time than expected, the default config doesnt allow players to have multiple swords but i saw you say that they can, if you go into the config and delete very line that has the swords listed on you will be able to have multiple swords. The permissions are no2tools.admin and the commands are /no2tools (enable/disable), ill update the readme on the github tomorrow. https://github.com/OlliePugh/No-2-Tools/releases/tag/v1.0

I installed it on my server typed the command /no2tools enable it says : no2tools is now enabled but I can still pick up 2 different tools though.

 

Can you show me your config.yml please?

 

Ah yes that is correct, ill fix that, but it is also enabled by default so it should work regardless that the config doesnt get saved, it just will never turn off currently.

I have made a small update to the plugin which may fix this issue you have. This is working for me with the most recent spigot version compiled from bulidtools.

Now i think of it I may know the issue, the plugin only stops users from picking up 2 tools from the ground, you can place them in your inventory.
