I recall a plugin a while back <Possibly as far back as hey0> That ran a check to see if blocks were connected to anything and if they weren't they would fall like sand and gravel <I even recall a feature where wood wouldn't fall through water.> My request is simply that a similar plugin be brought to the current version of bukkit. I quite enjoyed this functionality's increase to realism on my server.
There is one that allows caveins if you edit blocks that are not connected to anything they turn to sand... not exactly what you want but might do for now.
