Minecraft version: 1.11.2+

Suggested name: Showcase

What I want: I would like a plugin where people can showcase their items. For example a player has to hold the weapon and then type "/sc hand". In chat a message will pop up saying "{player} is showcasing an item, do /sc view to view". The other players then would have to type "/sc view". A 1 squared GUI would pop up and in the middle would be the item. I would also like a config to set up the messages.

Code:

public message: '&5{player} is showcasing an item, type &d/sc view &5to view'

showcase message: '&dViewing Showcase... '

Ideas for commands: "/sc hand" , "/sc view".

Ideas for permissions: "showcase.hand" , "showcase.view".

When I'd like it by: Anytime

What about one where you say "[item]" in chat, then it replaces that with the Item name. When the player hovers over it in chat, it pops up with all the info, enchantments, etc.

 

I think it would be nice to have this since it's a GUI

You can't have inventories with only one slot (the size must be an factor of 9).

 

I meant the row. I don't mean the squares. Meaning there are 3 rows in your inventory. When the gui pops up it will have 1 row and in the middle of the row would be the item.

 

What if multiple players type "/sc hand" at almost the same time? Then the player trying to view the item another player typed would be viewing the most recent item showcased.

 

The first person that types "/sc hand" will have their item showcased but the person that tried to do it right before them will have a message pop up in red letters saying "someone is already showcasing an item". The item will be view-able until 20 seconds and then the other person can type the command again to have their item showcased. Sorry I forgot to put this.

Thanks so much for making this! I have 2 request though.

1. Can you make it so you have to have a permission node to do "/sc view". like "showcase.view".

2. Also could you make it "/sc view" instead of "/showcase"

okay

actually I have a few errors I found recently. 1st is that there is no cool down time. Once you showcase an item you can showcase another one right after that. 2nd a player can showcase an item right after another player does. Basically there is no cool down. Could you fix this??

There is a cooldown. I have tested it and it works absolutely fine
