   I have a problem were when I try to allocate 4GB of Ram to my server, it wont start. I have 8GB of Ram (7.46 usable) but when I try to allocate 4GB it wont start; 1GB on the other hand will start it. Any ideas?

   Post your startup batch file here please.
   
   EDIT: It's likely that you have 32-bit Java installed. You should uninstall Java and install the 64-bit version from here:
   http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html
   
   Make sure to get x64, not x86.
