  1. Hi,
I use a Mac, and I just started up a bukkit server because I am a long time vanilla server user and decided to use a plugin. However, I double clicked the jar file, since that is what I did on my vanilla server, and now I do not have a console. I know now that I needed to create a command, but didn't at the time. The server is up against my wishes, and my computer says that Java is not running. I cannot shut down my bukkit server, even after logging in and out of my computer and disabling wifi. I've even deleted the jar file a few times to no avail. I have tried to op myself from within the files, but it still will not work. My computer is overheating, and it has not stopped since I lauched the server. I can't stop this and have tried to for about an hour now. Any tips? Thank you!

My server finally closed. For anyone experiencing the same issue, I would close everything you have open. Then restart your computer and close anything that remained open should their be a glitch.

@oceantheskatr, I reported that the way of making a startup script written there doesn't work anymore a couple of months ago. I see it wasn't fixed. I run it out of an IntelliJ Java external process now for easy stack trace navigation right through my code, but I never did find an alternative.

@Tecno_Wizard Oh, I followed it to set up a server in August :p

EDIT: ...atleast I think I did...
